Memorable holidays - King Island 2007

King Island - 2007

We were interested in going to King Island because Joy's Great Grandparents, William & Sarah Macdougall were Pioneer settlers on King Island in 1901.  They had 2 properties "Dunollie" and "Lorne". William had a bad accident on the "Lorne" property in 1914 which left him paralysed and in the wheelchair for the next 19 years.  We did find the properties and walked on the land. (Refer to my Macdougall Family Archives Blog).
